Beschrijving voor SN65C23243
SN65C23243 en SN75C23243 bestaan uit twee havens, elk drie lijnbestuurders en vijf lijnontvangers bevatten, en dubbele een last-pomp kring die met de beschermingsspeld van ±15-kV ESD aan speld (de spelden van de seriële poortverbinding, met inbegrip van GND). Deze apparaten voldoen aan de vereisten van tia/eia-232-F en verstrekken de elektrointerface tussen een asynchrone communicatiecontrolemechanisme en de seriële poortschakelaar. Deze combinatie bestuurders en ontvangersgelijken die voor twee typische die seriële poorten vereiste in IBM PC/AT worden gebruikt, of compatibel systeem. De lastenpomp en vier kleine externe condensatoren staan verrichting van één enkel 3-v aan levering 5,5-v toe. Bovendien omvatten deze apparaten een altijd-actieve noninverting output (ROUT2) per haven, die toepassingen gebruikend de ringsindicator toestaat om gegevens over te brengen terwijl de apparaten neer worden aangedreven. De apparaten stellen bij gegevens signalerende tarieven tot 250 kbit/s in werking, en een maximum van 30-V/µs-het zwenken-tarief van de bestuurdersoutput.
De flexibele controleopties voor energiebeheer zijn beschikbaar wanneer één van beide of beide seriële poorten inactief zijn. De auto-powerdown-autoeigenschap functioneert wanneer FORCEON laag is en FORCEOFF is hoog. Tijdens deze wijze van verrichting, als het apparaat geen geldig signaal rs-232 ontdekt, is de bestuurdersoutput van zijn respectieve haven gehandicapt. Als FORCEOFF laag wordt geplaatst, zowel worden de bestuurders als de ontvangers (behalve ROUT2) afgesloten, en de leveringsstroom wordt verminderd tot 1 µA. Het losmaken van de seriële poort of het uitzetten van de perifere bestuurders veroorzaakt de auto-powerdown-autovoorwaarde om voor te komen.
De auto-powerdown-auto kan worden onbruikbaar gemaakt wanneer FORCEON en FORCEOFF hoog zijn, en zou moeten worden gedaan wanneer het drijven van een periodieke muis. Met toegelaten auto-powerdown-auto, wordt haven rs-232 automatisch geactiveerd wanneer een geldig signaal wordt toegepast op om het even welke respectieve ontvangersinput. De INV-output wordt gebruikt om de gebruiker op de hoogte te brengen als een signaal rs-232 bij om het even welke ontvangersinput aanwezig is. INV is hoog (geldige gegevens) als om het even welk voltage van de ontvangersinput groter is dan 2,7 V of minder dan – 2,7 V is of tussen geweest – 0,3 V en 0,3 V voor minder dan 30 µs. INV is laag (ongeldige gegevens) als alle voltages van de ontvangersinput tussen – 0,3 V en 0,3 V voor meer dan 30 µs zijn. Verwijs naar Figuur 5 voor de niveaus van de ontvangersinput.
